Hello, nice to see all the progress with the Rockbox project, keep it up or "GAMBARE", as the would have said here in Japan!
I'm sorry if this don't really fit in here but I want to ask about how you go about to put the firmware on the mac. I'm on a mac with a Japanese MacOS so the whole prospect of finding out how to turn off "don't show hidden files" is a little intimidating right now.
I looked at the Archos homepage and they don't even have any ajz installer for mac that you can download (which could have solved the problem in an easy way).
Well I guess I'll have to wait until monday when I can get access to a PC. However, any information about how to go about to do it on mac would be appreciated. Maybe it might even be good research for the rockbox homepage too since I'm sure I'm not the only one cursed with a macintosh and with rockbox being an opensource project, since those almost as a rule seems to embrace crossplatform compability.
I do however have one question that concerns rockbox. Is there any feature list that you can look at as there where before on the homepage (or has it just been moved?) with level of completion? I know you disscuss the progress of the firmware on IRC but I really don't have time to go there. If you would take up posting the IRC logs I would be very happy so I can catch up when I have time. Because I really want to know what happens, I check my Rockbox mail every day but latley it has been quiet from time to time.
Well as I said before! Keep up the good work! I'm sure there's more people than me that are just dying to get our hands on a firmware that we can replace the Archos one with, my lowest level functionality is resume (not counting to be able to play the songs etc) and repeat all, which I can't live without. When that's implemented I'm going to change over for forever.
