why not have it delivered to another folder just for rockbox mailings?

You can make a special SSI Directory and protect it with the following
..htaccess file (if your server support this):
RewriteEngine on
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule (.*) / [R]
All requests with a browser will be redirected to the main page (so noone
can
view your ssi files from the web).
