Date: Wed, 31 Jul 2002 18:01:34 +0200 in FAT32 directory sectors, we can find entries for "." and "..". And since FAT32 has a root directory in a cluster chain instead of a reserved sector (FAT12/16). There are chance for "." and ".." being there. So what happens ? ".." of the root should point on itself and then "../../Tom_Waits/Blue_Valentines/02-Red_Shoes_By_The_Drugstore.mp3" should have been read as : "/Tom_Waits/Blue_Valentines/02-Red_Shoes_By_The_Drugstore.mp3". ----- Original Message ----- From: "Daniel Stenberg" <daniel_at_haxx.se> To: <rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se> Sent: Wednesday, July 31, 2002 2:07 PM Subject: Re: Playlist problem > On Tue, 30 Jul 2002, Brian King wrote: > > > I use playlsts that have entries something like: > > > > ../../Tom_Waits/Blue_Valentines/02-Red_Shoes_By_The_Drugstore.mp3 > > Quote from the Rockbox 1.1 release notes: > > "Relative paths are however not yet supported, all paths must begin in the > root dir no matter where the playlist file is located." > > No, I don't know why this works at all, but there's currently no code that > properly deals with the ../ parts. > > If you make each line an absolute path instead, it should work better. > > -- > Daniel Stenberg -- Rocking the box => http://bjorn.haxx.se/rockbox/ > Received on 2002-07-31 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
