Rockbox mail archiveSubject: Cygwin CompilerCygwin Compiler
From: Justin Heiner <jheiner_at_yahoo.com>
Date: Tue, 6 Aug 2002 13:48:13 -0700 (PDT) I compiled the cygwin gcc and binutils to make the SH1 cross compiler under win32, and it seems to work and compiles most of the code. It dies a ways into the compile though. Here's what I get /home/Administrator/sh1/bin/../lib/gcc-lib/sh-elf/3.1.1/../../../../sh-elf/bin/l d: warning: no memory region specified for section `.rodata.str1.4' /home/Administrator/rockbox/build/tree.o: In function `_showdir': /home/Administrator/rockbox/build/tree.o(.text+0x1ec): undefined reference to `_ memcmp' /home/Administrator/rockbox/build/librockbox.a(id3.o): In function `_setid3v2tit le': id3.o(.text+0x2f4): undefined reference to `_memcmp' id3.o(.text+0x3b0): undefined reference to `_memcmp' /home/Administrator/rockbox/build/librockbox.a(id3.o): In function `_getid3v2len ': id3.o(.text+0x44c): undefined reference to `_memcmp' /home/Administrator/rockbox/build/librockbox.a(id3.o): In function `_getid3v1len ': id3.o(.text+0x4b8): undefined reference to `_memcmp' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[1]: *** [/home/Administrator/rockbox/build/archos.elf] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/Administrator/rockbox/apps' make: *** [apps] Error 2 __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
