How much should player/recorder software differ? (was: play marked file vs. start random file (when shuffle is on))

Hello Justin,

The problem is that I cannot play all songs of a dir once shuffled.
If I press next (as you said), the first song wouldn't be played again.

But making the recorder software exactly behave like the player
(concerning the buttons), the additional buttons wouldn't be used! And I
want to use them.
I think that it will be the usual way that the recorder has some
features on it's additional buttons and the player has this functions in
the config menu. How would you otherwise make use of the recorder
buttons without giving up these functions on the player?
I'd prefer the right button as it is now (same in player and recorder)
and the play button my "starting with random file" (only on recorder).

Bye, Uwe.
