No, you don't understand me.

In the normal playing display (with the Song infos and time display),
the user hould decide if he wants the status bar or not (as it is
implemented now).

But maybe in the dir browser a status bar is never ever useful, so even
with the status bar turned "on" (visible in normal playing display), the
status bar should not shown in the dir browser.

And my question was how you (and others) think about that and if you
find it better as it is now or only didn't think about it.
