My point is that you don't need a third mode if you set the timeout long enough. > I think, the three modes I described are very suitable and > I hope you agree with me that they should behave as > I wrote. If we use two timeout settings, one for battery operation and one for charger operations, we don't need names or modes. If we only have two named options, I can assure you that people will file reports on the "timeout being too long" _and_ "timeout is too short". People have different opinions on this. Why not give them a way of setting the timeouts themselves and spare us from trouble? > BTW: Your Forename is Linus, or not? Why have you set your > mail program to write "Nielsen Linus" and not > "Linus Nielsen" as sender? Or are you from (StarTrek > Universe's) Bajor? ;-) What is this "(ext)"? The "ext" is my customer's (Siemens) silly way of telling the world that I don't work there, I am simple consultant. And they have a central management of all mail accounts (Exchange) so I can't change my name or return address when I send mail from work. /Linus Received on 2002-08-12 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
