Date: Mon, 12 Aug 2002 12:05:03 +0100 On a related / off topic (?) note... has neone tried different battaries in the remote controller? the CR1616s seem to run out of juice in about a week, and are too expensive to keep replacing... has anyone tried any larger cells, to see if they physically fit in the remote? CR2032's for example. its a shame not to be able to use it, but £6 a week is a but steep :) its not THAT bad, because the design of the Jukebox is good, and its possible to feel for the play/pause button through my jeans, and navigate to the correct button :) g ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nielsen Linus (ext)" <Linus.Nielsen_at_elema.siemens.se> To: <rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se> Sent: Monday, August 12, 2002 11:45 AM Subject: RE: RoLo / Serial Controller questions ? > > First the v1.2 is really a big step in UI, and now there is > > no more reason to use Archos Firmware except for recording, > > but I hope that will come .. > > Some day, yes... > > > Secondly I'd like to get the serial controller code include > > in the CVS ? is it possible, I do no think that will > > "perturbate" the existing code . > > It will be merged soon, very soon. > > > And I'd like too to get the RoLo code in the CVS? > > It's coming.
