Hmm.. Sounds like 1.28 still carries these bugs.. I've experienced all
of those you've mentioned!! :-(

Two really irksome bugs (in 1.27c):

-- If you record a file, then choose record again without changing the
filename, it deletes the previous file without asking you (instead of
doing the sensible thing and appending a number to it, like the "Next"
button does).

-- If you stop recording by hitting the Off button instead of the Stop
button, your recording is lost.

I've also noticed that sometimes while recording a long file, the screen
will suddenly get out of whack--it will look like it's "scrolled down"
half way and "wrapped around" to the top. This doesn't seem to cause
any functionality problems, though.

Once the recorder froze up entirely while recording something, and I had
to remove the batteries to shut it off. This only happened once,
though.
