But as has been said, there is a point where too many options gets far too
confusing for the average user (ie: menus going 10 levels deep), making them
not want to use it.

I agree with a previous post that we should be OK with saying "no" to a feature
if it is deemed to be just not useful enough. It is agreed that Rockbox is such
a great product because it has so many options that the official firmware does
not (not hard to accomplish, but you get the point), but having too many
options would definately be a downfall.
