Hello, I am new to this list. I am excited to find this project. I found
it by searching Google for "archos hack".

I did that search because I was wondering... Is it feasible to get the
recorder to write other formats, like WAV and OGG? I see from FAQ 17, and
FR 507661, that other people have suggested it. Does anyone know if it is
likely to be doable?

Also I would like to know, what kind of AD is in the recorder? What is the
sample rate & bit depth?
