Synchronized is sort of the same thing. Synchronized usually refers to
audio or auditory things, and aligned often (but not always) refers to
visual things.

Well, I couldn't find a good word for it. It means that when you rip a live
album and encode the tracks one by one, you will probably still get gaps.

However, if you rip and encode the whole album, then split each song into
separate files, you won't get gaps between them.
