im with Chad on this one. I think that volume control and pause should both
be able to be changed in any screen. I am not sure the best way to implement
this, but it would be very handy. Reduces button presses, and when listening
to music and your attention is needed, makes it much easier to pause.

No, I don't think so. The WPS is the screen for controlling playback. Other
screens have other purposes and use the keys accordingly.

You can't change volume in every screen either. Why is pause more important
than that? And next-track, and search...
