I disaree with all of you ;-)
Others have already been thinking about this and then developed GNU
gettext. Have a look at "http://www.gnu.org/manual/". Why don't we just
use this established standard ?
No. I don't want to port the whole GNU libc to RockBox (nor Linux) :-)
