My typical speeds lay between 4 and 10 Mb/s. The average was about 7. I used
an unbranded, run-of-the-mill card in XP.
Sadly, I'm living out of my home country, and don't have USB2 in my laptop.
I'd definitely recommend getting a 2.0 card.
