yea I have realized that too. SO it will just be like constantly
killing/recharging my batteries...how lon will it take for the battery life
to significantly fall?

I get the impression that when running in USB mode with a charger
plugged, the player will use a "deep discharge" mode. Sometimes after
having my player connected via USB (and the charger connected), the
batteries are pretty much empty.
