The MP3 format is not designed to allow glitch-free playback between songs. It all depends on the coder and the CD ripper. There is no intentional delay between songs on the Rockbox. We remove the ID3 tags to allow the decoder to stay in sync. However, the VBR header is still sent to the decoder by mistake.
