Date: Sun, 15 Sep 2002 13:37:21 -0400 I am still searching for a way to rip a cd into one big MP3. Anybody know of a way? -----Original Message----- From: owner-rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se [mailto:owner-rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se] On Behalf Of Danijel Ilisin Sent: Sunday, September 15, 2002 1:30 PM To: rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se Subject: AW: AW: AW: AW: Delay between tracks (was: Just a short question) Okay, i just tried it. I split up a 100meg mp3 file in multiple parts and generated a .m3u for it. Then I let it play - sometimes there is no noticeable delay between the tracks but most of the time you hear a short break between them. It's a short "knack" when the screen refreshes its info. The big mp3 file is a CBR (192kbit) mp3 file. So this can't be due the VBR header, can it? It would be great if one could fix that - so I can split all my big mp3's to small ones and give them real tracknames and stuff - and everything plays as if it was one giant mix. -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: owner-rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se [mailto:owner-rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se] Im Auftrag von Linus Nielsen Feltzing Gesendet: Sonntag, 15. We remove the ID3 tags to allow the decoder to stay in sync. However, the VBR header is still sent to the decoder by mistake. This is a bug we intend to fix. /Linus Received on 2002-09-15 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
