No. This is still work in progress, which will be documented much more when it stabilizes.

Yes.

You will be able to click PLAY on a font file, and it will be loaded.

We'll put up a couple of fonts on the Rockbox site. In fact, we've already begun:

The compiled-in font will look something like the old font. But Rockbox will load your personal favourite font at boot, so the compiled-in font won't be seen very often.
