Yes, we've been thinking about that (and Gregs code included some support for it before I stripped it out ;). It's definitely possible.

You are right. I have updated the http://rockbox.haxx.se/fonts/ with images that show what the different fonts look like and what characters they contain.

All fonts except the default compiled-in Rockbox font will be removed from CVS shortly.
