See the comments at the start of cuefile.c for the format of a cuefile. Any more information on the structure of cuefiles is gratefully received. I'm sure there are still some bugs, but it gives you an idea of what cuefile support could look like. The files cuefile.c and cuefile.h go in the "firmware" directory. I am also attaching two patches - one for the apps directory, and one for firmware. To use - just create a "longfile.cue" file to go with your "longfile.mp3" file and play your mp3 file as normal. "tick marks" appear on the progress bar (on the recorder) and you can use next/prev to move within the track. Regards, Dave.
