Date: Tue, 15 Oct 2002 06:27:29 -0700 I was just about to suggest the same thing. I had a 20Gig player that wouldn't boot up, unless it was hooked to the USB port. The old hard drive you put back into it could have just needed less juice to boot up fully, and that's why it worked? I would try new fully charged batteries. -----Original Message----- From: Ed Wilson [mailto:ed.wilson_at_cedalion.co.uk] Sent: Tuesday, October 15, 2002 9:01 AM To: rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se Subject: RE: HD problem probably a little too obvious but are you batteries ok ? Does it do the same when plugged in through the adapter ? -----Original Message----- From: Perron, Olivier [mailto:olivier.perron_at_mdc.nec.fr] Sent: 15 October 2002 13:50 To: 'rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se' Subject: RE: HD problem Have you try to run scandisk on your HD? I forgot to mention that I already have done this. I tried RB 1.3/1.4, original Archos 1.27d and none at all, which should result in 1.17i. Didn't help.
