Date: Wed, 23 Oct 2002 10:49:00 -0400 These rechargeable batteries MUST be fully charged before using the player. They will not come up to full capacity until several charge/discharge cycles have occured. I use NiMh batteries in everything. The first thing I did when I got my JBR20 was to remove the factory cells, and put them in my charger. I then took a fully charged set of 1800mah cells and put them in the recorder.
