These rechargeable batteries MUST be fully
charged before using the player.
They will not come up to full capacity until
several charge/discharge cycles have occured.
I use NiMh batteries in everything.
The first thing I did when I got my JBR20 was to
remove the factory cells, and put them in my charger.
I then took a fully charged set of 1800mah cells
and put them in the recorder.
I just couldn't wait!
