News for the player simulator

From: Kjell Ericson <Kjell.Ericson_at_haxx.se>

Hi users of the player simulator,

I will soon (this evening or tomorrow) check in my changes of the simulator
for the player (unless I found too many bugs, or someone can tell me my ideas
are bad).

The player simulator is a patch of the recorder simulator, that's why I think
a remodelling is necessary. The main changes are:

* The lcd_bitmap of the recorder sim is not used any more.
* The real characters are stored in the simulator and the soft defined pattern
are stored together and displayed in the same way.
* Redefining a pattern will make the lcd to be updated.
* The icons are to be handled different (not 100% correct in this checkin).

The window version simulator will probably not work (will test it before
checking in) because the player simulator will use drawing primitives
"drawdots", "drawline" and "drawrectangles". The last is new, but shouldn't be
hard to implement. If anyone is using the windows simulator for the player,
then tell me, because more changes will come (the very frequently
updated display shall be less frequently updated).

The redesign will be a major step for me and Mats Lidell to start implementing
a dynamic font in the player where the new lcd versions will get language
specific characters displayed.

I also managed to destroy the recorder simulator for some people with my tries
to be able to resize the window (everything worked for me). I will rewrite
this later, but in the meantime I shall remove the resize function.
