Just found this Velleman kit (www.velleman.be, kit MK136)

It's a sort of an electronic ear thing which might just be good
enough to do say basic stereo recordings. I will get one of these
this weekend and see whether it is any good (might need a better mic
capsule, but I'll try it).. let you know next week..;)
