I will try to recreate this before making it an official bug report,
but I just recorded a full MD to my recorder (1.28) using line-in and
after the MD finished I hit play/pause again which resulted in a
'recfile= -2' message on my recorder.

I used quality 7 and recorder at 48KHz

I will try to do this again when I get back from town.
