USB driver in NetBSD-current broken for Archos :-(

Just took delivery of my 20Gb recorder, finding NetBSD says

umass0: BBB reset failed, IOERROR
umass0: BBB bulk-in clear stall failed, IOERROR
umass0: BBB bulk-out clear stall failed, IOERROR
umass0: at uhub0 port 1 (addr 2) disconnected


device is recognized as:

umass0 at uhub0 port 1 configuration 2 interface 0
umass0: ARCHOS ARCHOS USB2.0 (P4a), rev 2.00/11.01, addr 2
umass0: using SCSI over Bulk-Only
scsibus0 at umass0: 2 targets, 1 lun per target
scsibus0: waiting 2 seconds for devices to settle...
sd0 at scsibus0 target 1 lun 0: <HITACHI_, DK23DA-20, 00J2> disk fixed
sd0: 19077 MB, 19077 cyl, 64 head, 32 sec, 512 bytes/sect x 39070080 sectors
sd0: no disk label
sd0: no disk label

any suggestions? I am seeking NetBSD help..
