I have noticed a peculiarity in the current bleeding edge back
to 1.4

I select a directory, and while playing press
the forward button to go to the next song.
On some songs it will play ok.
On some it may play for a few seconds, then go silent
while still appearing to play.
hitting the back button will repeat the silence at the
same position in the song.
Pressing stop and then play will cause it to play correctly.
