for some reason selecting digital actually records
from line-in.

also i seem to get inconsistent recording times on
mp3's

i recorded for 30 seconds = 29 second mp3 file
               1 minute = 57 second mp3 file
               2 minutes = 48 second mp3 file

the 30 second and 1 minute are close enough but
something strange happend to the 2 minute recording
