Dear crazy person, (just kiddin).
if every line of info in the ID3 was too long and scrolling the screen would be way too busy and probably difficult to read, but thats just my opinion.
The archos firmware does not have the ability to switch to another firmware(such as rockbox). this is not a bug, it is the way they wrote their code.
I'm pretty sure the backlight doesn't have dimming settings.. just on and off.
And scandisk and defrag on the box itself??? they would have to writ the code for that from scratch and if it worked, it would suck the batteries totally dry.

  Dear Bjorn.

Bug Report 1) - When long ID3 tags are displayed, they don't scroll as with the Archos firmware.

Bug Report 2) - I can switch from the Rockbox firmware to the Archos firmware but can't switch back again without having to power off the Jukebox.

Feature Request 1 - How about a setting to adjust the brightness of the backlight? Making the backlight dimmer may help to increase the backlight and aid reading in certain light conditions.

Feature Request 2 - How about an ability to defragment and scandisk the hard drive on the fly without having to hook up the USB cable to a pc? Would be handy for those who are constantly deleting and making recordings, as it would improve the performance of the hard drive?

Finally how do you make a font you like automatically load every time you start up the Jukebox with the Rockbox firmware, as I find it a pain to manually load the font everytime I switch on the Jukebox?

Overall im really pleased with the Rockbox firmware, its much much better than the crummy Archos firmware!! Keep up the good work Bjorn and the rest!!

  Many Thanks.

  Jason.
