Date: Mon, 2 Dec 2002 19:10:36 -0500 I would also recommend partitioning the file on the fly while you're recording, if you are able (and you can remember)... It's one of the few nonstandard, really nice features the original Archos FW has. Simply hit the "Split" button (or whatever it's called) and it will finish that file and start a whole new one. The display splits after a while anyway, but the buttons still work, as I'm sure you've discovered. I personally use the split feature extensively. But the Rockbox recording is so close, I can taste it. :-) Matt -----Original Message----- From: owner-rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se [mailto:owner-rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se]On Behalf Of Paul van der Heu Sent: Monday, December 02, 2002 1:05 AM To: rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se Subject: Re: archos >4h recording bug On Mon, 2 Dec 2002 00:51:29 -0500, p o u n d h o u s e wrote: >>Actualy you did not lose the recording.. You're welcome.. we learn through trial and error.. ;) I actually reformatted and reinstalled my whole system once because SystemCommander hid all my primary partitions and I thought it trashed the partition table.... Only to find out later what I missed .. PW Received on 2002-12-03 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
