Yes, but then they built a player that has a very open design. This
makes things a lot easier for the rockbox team. I mean you just have
to copy a binary to the player to have rockbox running. Downgrading
is just as simple. Life could be a lot more difficult - and dangerous.

I consider it sad you have to have a winning project like rockbox until
companies start to get back to you. But then they are just not used
to answer questions regarding what they think are their secrets.

Btw, are there archos-people on this ML?
