It's certainly a nice tip-o-the-hat to the Rockbox ppl; but it really makes
alot of commercial sense for Archos. They get to reduce thier customer
support (if its possible for it to go negative .. :P), and gain not only
better code, but code that is constantly improving. From the start of this
project, Archos could have gone one of three ways; cease and desist; ignore;
or support. At the moment, they seem to be crossing over from ignore to
support, but the proof of this pudding is really in thier help on the
recorder FM model (may I ask what the problem here is? Have they used a
different scramble routine? Or is it just a lack of HW information - maybe
I need to get one tucked into a christmas stocking and break out my MM?? ).

Ultimately, I guess, recognition is always welcome :)
