Rockbox mail archiveSubject: Stoycov? scrollStoycov? scroll
From: g wiz <zupinlop_at_yahoo.com>
Date: Fri, 13 Dec 2002 15:09:15 -0800 (PST) Last night I downloaded the latest target build - archos20021213.ajz. I renamed and installed in the root, then booted from it. Then I started playing around with all the new settings. When I got into the peak meter setttings I changed from dbf to linear. Then the maximum (strength?) setting defaulted to 100%, whereas in dbf it was 0%. I don't know what this setting does but I changed it anyway-to 67 or so. Then the music stopped, and the screen said something like "**panic** Stoycov scroll." Well, I didnt panic, I just shut it off. When I turned it back on it did the same thing. Then I started worrying...what if it didn't boot up to usb so I could replace the firmware file? But the usb worked fine and I was able to replace it with version 1.4, then I loaded the same build through the rolo and tried to repeat what I had done, but it didn't happen. So maybe, the problem wasn't with the peak meter. What is the Stoycov scroll and should I panic? (I may have the spelling wrong) Paul __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
