I did a little more research on the dimming.
When in the dir browser, I am on an mp3, I press right, and am taken to the WPS,
moments later the BL will dim. I can press off, repeat the steps, and the
dimming is repeatable. If I press off and then use the >|| button to start the playing,
the BL will just go off.
When in the WPS, I adjust the volume, and sometimes the Bl will dim and other times it will
just go off.
None of that is totally repeatable. Within a session of specific key presses it is, but after that
it is not predictable. :-(
I just noticed something about the dimming. The BL was in the process of dimming and the
HDD spun up and accessed. While the HDD spun up and accessed the dimming stopped.
It just stayed at the brightness while the HDD accessed. When the HDD was done, the BL
