AFAIK the ISD 300 does support ATA5, which is 2^28 Blocks = 128 GB (~ 137.000.000.000 Byte). The successor, Cypress CY7C68300 (only some months old), supports ATA6 with 2^48 Blocks. I've read somewhere that Cypress Semiconductors overtook (bought) In-Design. They also sell the ISD-chips now. ISD-200 USB 1.1 max ~ 1.0 MB/s ISD-300 USB 2.0 max ~14.5 MB/s CY7C68300 USB 2.0 max ~28.0 MB/s I bought an external harddrive box a month ago with this new Cypress chip inside. It really *is* that fast. :-) Bye, Uwe. Received on 2002-12-31 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
