Date: Fri, 3 Jan 2003 09:23:30 -0000 Does anyone know of any command line (dos) playlist generators or scripts that just take a path and create a playlist of all (sorted) mp3's in that directory (and maybe recurse)? I want to be able to right click in a directory and select 'create playlist'. -----Original Message----- From: Melih ÖZBEK [mailto:melih_at_tarim.gov.tr] Sent: 02 January 2003 14:14 To: 'rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se' Subject: RE: Yet another recursive playlist maker Not it is optional.. You can download from the same addresses http://qv3000MR.virtualave.net/MP3/PlaylistGenerator.zip This is about 1.3 mb If you believe you installed a vb program before, you might have those big runtime dlls, so you can try this 8 kb version. http://qv3000MR.virtualave.net/MP3/PLGen.zip : -----Original Message----- From: Chris Holt [mailto:amiga2k_at_cox.net] Sent: Thursday, January 02, 2003 3:32 PM To: rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se Subject: Re: Yet another recursive playlist maker ----- Original Message ----- From: "Melih ÖZBEK" <melih_at_tarim.gov.tr> To: <rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se> Sent: Thursday, January 02, 2003 7:32 AM Subject: Yet another recursive playlist maker > Playlist generates two playlists for each directory. Which means if > you go to the playlist > at the topmost mp3 directory, you can play all your MP3s.. I'm curious why you would generate a playlist for the current directory. This is already the default playmode without a playlist and would seem redundant. Can that be turned off? Other than that, it sounds like a fantastic script.
