I'm one of the downloaders. Installation went smooth except,
that I put the tools "scrample.exe" etc. into "/bin" instead
of "/home/rockbox/tools". The error message of the first build
gave enough clue to correct this. Until now I could not test
the resulting "archos.mod" (I'm building for the player) on
the device itself. BTW. I'm running cygwin on VirtualPC on
MacOS9 on an old (and slow) iBook. The build is not fast, but
at least it seems to work.
