Date: Thu, 9 Jan 2003 00:11:15 -0500 Well, I just got my JBR back from Archos (actually they sent me a new one as replacement - wow), and tried yesterday's build... Man, how far it has come!! Thank you guys! I'm sorry if I missed this before, I did a quick check through my archives for the list and didn't find anything on it... Am I right in thinking that when the backlight is off, the first keypress is trapped to turn the backlight back on? That seems to be the behavior I'm seeing. Anyway, this isn't a big deal, but I'd rather have that particular functionality turned off for the play/pause button in the WPS. My thinking is this: when I push play/pause, I normally expect an immediate response from the unit. Generally, when I use that button to stop the playing of a track, it's b/c I need the unit to stop immediately - phone call, girlfriend's "emergency", or what not. None of the other buttons have the same requirement except off, and that's hard wired. Would it be a big deal to change? It's not necessary, I know - I could easily modify my behavior to match the current functionality, but I mention it b/c it is not, strictly speaking, intuitive. Anyway, just a thought. What do y'all think? Matt Received on 2003-01-09 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
