That way when a recording is made, we can check it and rockbox will make sure the headers are properly included in the file. We'd only need to check the last couple of minutes of the file - on my last recording, only the last minute of a 6 minute song was cut off, so it seems that the information was written properly up until nearly the end. Am I understanding the nature of xing headers correctly - are they written separately for each x amount of data, or is there only one at the beginning or end of the file or something? IMHO, the Xing header should be put there immediately when the file is created and only filled-in properly when the recording is completed. No extra copy needed. -- Daniel Stenberg -- http://rockbox.haxx.se/ -- http://daniel.haxx.se/Received on 2003-01-14 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
