This would be really useful for me (the bit about 1 button, not playlists),
and would also have the advantage that we may be able to build a very simple
passive remote control module, with only 1 button (using a capacitor to
build up a charge when the port is set to output and 1, then switching to
input, and seeing if it is 0 or 1)

I still have to get my rockbox out of my pocket to change directory - a skp
to next directory function which can be activated 'blind' would be very
useful. I find volume, and track skip etc ok tho
