I've seen this also. Try resetting the default settings of the system.
I believe this is because I moved to reading a different memory address
and there is garbage there until it is set or reset.

I've got a problem I got on the previous version too : when I go in the
settings menu, General Settings, Bookmarking, and select Auto-Bookmark,
the setting string is totally messed up : it doesn't say "yes" or "no",
I just got a curious alphanumeric string ... really strange ?!?
