Just a report to say that the Toshiba 60 GB hard disk works in my Archos.

Using the instructions at: http://www2.funmp3players.com/reviews/modify/,
and http://www.mctubster.com/hd.html, I removed the stock 20 GB Hitachi
DK23DA-0F hard disk from my Archos Jukebox Recorder 20, and replaced it with
a Toshiba MK6021GAS 9.5mm 2.5" Notebook HDD 60GB 4200rpm 12ms ATA-100 ULTRA.
Works great. The stock firmware sees the larger disk. So does RockBox.

Also replaced the stock 1500 mAhr NiHyd batteries with some 1800 mAhr
batteries that I had on hand.

Between these two changes, the 'hangs', where music would stop playing for
no apparent reason have stopped for me *so far*. I've run the stock Archos
firmware,
and the Rockbox daily build from Feb 13, 2003 on it with no problems yet.
