The reason I ask is that we seem to get a few "bugs" reported asking about
FM support. In my view, the FM is stable and useable from the current CVS
development branch, and we should be making more noise about this on the
website now. Maybe a new News item on the homepage, and a note explaining
the current status on the Download page.

Also, would there be any mileage in backporting the FM fixes into the
current 1.4 branch (I assume it was tagged for release in CVS?), and
putting that release on the Download page as well, even if there's an
"unsupported" disclaimer as well. If this seems like a reasonable plan to
the list, I could look at doing this.
