There is already a link to the chat applet from the rockbox pages for some
time and ~200
logins have been done this way.
I don`t like commercial software very much, but goood implementations of
java based irc clients are
scarce and I would like to know, if you find it worth spending the "bucks"
for that.
(perhaps someone knows a better one for free?)

I`m thinking about buying the applet and offering the link as my personal
donation - but I would first like
to know, if other people find it useful, too
