oh - you`re right. thanks ! but - at this point it`s "fiddling with the
details" ;)

besides this, i got some new idea:

i really like this, because:

- large space for icon
- "selected" is printed reverse (as Joaquim`s inverted line cursor patch
introduces) -
  so you better see what is actually selected.
- icon+text+slider+number/percentage field could give us a well recycable
"widget"

why not :) songs in the playlist are among each other. the volume triangle
"fills" horizontally
when adjusting volume - so that would just fit to what`s "on the screen".
didn`t think about the disadvantages - onecould be the fact, that current
keymappings have
"burnt" into everyone`s mind and changing this could give confusion. people
are creatures of habit ;)
