Exact Audio Copy (www.exactaudiocopy.de) using lame as an external
encoder, is the combo of choice for audiophiles. To simplify things I
think EAC has an internal encoder of its own. EAC is freedb aware which
means it will automatically look up CD info for you. You can configure
EAC to include whatever information you want in the ID3 tags and also to
name the files however you want based on that information.
