Which is why the li-ion battery in the FM Recorder is a weird custom
shape, and (as far as I can see) not available separately :(

I don't really want to have to throw the entire thing away in a few
years just because the battery has aged, but it seems it may be
necessary :(

(FM Recorder arriving next week; if it hadn't been for Rockbox, or at
least the possibility of firmware replacement and the promise of
improvement it holds out, I'd very probably not have got an Archos at
all.)
