Date: Sun, 9 Mar 2003 15:14:02 -0500 I think we should allow a setting in the .cfg to indicate whether or not to return to the previous .cfg settings once a playlist has been played. This will necessitate storing the previous settings in memory somehow, but I think it will save some aggrivation in the long run. An alternative would be to write the current settings to a .cfg file in the .rockbox directory whenever a new .cfg file is loaded as part of a playlist/etc. Matt -----Original Message----- From: owner-rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se [mailto:owner-rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se]On Behalf Of Björn Stenberg Sent: Sunday, March 09, 2003 1:41 PM To: rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se Subject: Re: Shuffle playlists (sometimes) Johan Vromans wrote: > The idea is to be able to run a playlist with different settings. Use two identical copies of the playlist: list.m3u and list_shuffle.m3u. Then you have list.cfg and list_shuffle.cfg to handle the shuffle setting. Let's keep things separated. Loading a .cfg file should never initiate other actions, such as starting a playlist. -- BjörnReceived on 2003-03-09 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
