An alternative would > be to write the current settings to a .cfg file in the .rockbox directory I've recently submitted a patch thats writes the current settings into a .cfg file: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=700463&group_id=44306&atid=439120 The temporary .cfg file could be a parameter of settings_save_config(). In this case (file parameter is not empty), the keyboard screens doesnt appear. This would be an easy modification.
